Alana and Alyssa
Alana De La Garza has earned a reputation on television. In 1976 De La Garza was born to a Mexican-American father as well as an Irish-American mom in Columbus Ohio. De La Garza moved soon to Texas and studied in physical therapy at University of Texas. De La Garza moved from Texas to Orlando Florida and took on various acting roles on local independent film as well as international commercials. The small parts didn't stop her from discovering that she loved acting. She moved into New York and in 2001 she landed her first part in the soap opera daytime All My Children as Rosa Santos. Throughout the early 2000s she was a small part in JAG Las Vegas and Two and a Half Men. In 2004 she was cast as her first part of a series in The Mountain, the short-lived drama on television. De La Garza played Maria Serrano along with a host of top TV actors like Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pileggi and Mitch Plegge. In 2006 she was also cast as A.D.A. in Law & Order. Connie Rubirosa. She was on screen for 85 episodes. The character later re-entered the short-lived spinoff Law & Order: LA. This character was a hit and earned De La Garza numerous nominations, including Best Supporting Actress - Television by the Imagen Foundation Awards and even several ALMA Award noms. The National Hispanic Media Coalition awarded her with the Impact Award, which is given for outstanding performances in a drama television series. De La Garza got a reprise role in CSI Miami a few moments later. She played Marisol Deko as Horatio his wife. Her most recent appearance on TV was on the character Dr. Lena Solis on NBC's somewhat dark drama Do No Harm. After a couple of episodes the show was cancelled. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. Her parents are from Italian heritage and has a younger brother Cory who is 10 years her junior. She was brought up in a conservative, religious family. Milano started her acting career when she was seven years old. The babysitter took her for her first audition. Out of more than a thousand applicants, she was chosen among only four. Milano was featured in television advertisements, off-Broadway productions and in the American premiere of Jane Eyre.
